Helem Girls is a group within Helem restricted to Lebanese women who identify as lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LBTQ). It was launched in September 2006 as a service to support, build, and empower the LBTQ community in Lebanon. Our current activities include an online discussion list and the publication of souhaq, the monthly zine of women with unconventional sexualities, in addition to this online space. We will soon be filling this section of Helem's website with news, information, articles, and resources of interest for LBTQ women.
