Within the framework of advocating against the forced tests of shame (anal tests and virginity tests) at the police stations in Lebanon, Helem is working to launch a petition and/or a march or demonstration in front of the Syndicate of Physicians and the Ministry of Justice on Friday the 10th of August 2012 (date tentative).

Accordingly, we invite you as activists and concerned citizens who believe in the abolishment of such abuses and torture, to a meeting next Saturday on the 4th of August 2012 to prepare for the move. Attendance is open and everyone is welcome to join. We hope to see you there.
