In the upcoming meeting on Thursday June 28, the topic of beauty with regard to gender will be discussed, with a special emphasis on what are attractiveness, taste, “standards”, and tackling the common idea that “X is out of your league”.
This Thursday 12th of April 2012, we will discuss the concept of queer identity. We will also talk about the conceptualization of our identities through the use of different labels and what is the advantage/disadvantage of each.
Tomorrow, Thursday 21st of March 2012 our meeting will tackle the issue of sex work. We will discuss the aspects of sex work in Lebanon in a non-judgmental atmosphere.
This Thursday meeting, Hiba will present an overview on the Coalition for Sexual and Bodily Rights in Muslim Society (CSBR).
Hiba will give us an introduction of CSBR work and network. We will then have a discussion on sexual bodily rights and LGBT role in it.
