Launched in response to rising hostility and widespread misinformation, the Academy addresses the urgent need for inclusive, locally rooted education. The curriculum spans three core pillars: online learning, institutional training, and community-based training. Whether you're tuning in from a remote area or engaging through a partner organization, the Academy is designed to meet you where you are—with content available in both Arabic and English, and in formats that don’t rely on high-speed internet or advanced tech. Helem Academy offers self-paced online courses for members from across the world who are unable to attend in-person trainings at our premises. Our courses cover SOGIESC, Advanced SOGIESC, and Know Your Rights (KYR) in English and Arabic, providing flexible and accessible education on queer identities and rights.
